Travelling by rail
The average journeuy time from London Liverpool Street
to Norwich is only 1 hour 40 minutes and it takes the
same time to travel from King's Cross to King's Lynn.
If you're coming from the Midlands, North and Scotland
simply change at Peterborough.
Local rail services connect Norwich to Great Yarmouth,
Cromer and Sheringham. If you're planning a cycling holiday
in Norfolk you can even bring your bike on the train and
leave the car at home.
Once you've arrived in Norfolk there are a number of small,
independent rail services such as the Bure Valley Railway
and the Bittern Line which will help you explore the beautiful
countryside.

From the South East and London, the M11, A11, A12 and
A14 are the major trunk roads. From the Midlands and North
of England the A14, A11 and A47 are the principal routes. |

and Amsterdam, connecting to over 300 worldwide destinations.

operate daily from and to Harwich in Essex which is a
1½ hour drive from Norwich. European destinations include
