Thetford Audio Tours
Thetford has a fascinating history and heritage, and two audio tours have been released to bring to life the Thetford story and that of one of its most famous son's ~ Thomas Paine.

Commissoned by Thetford Town Council, and part funded by a Breckland District Council Tourism Development Grant, the tours are available from the Thetford TIC, Market Place. Audio guides cost £3.50 and can be downloaded onto the visitors MP3 or visitors can alternatively hire an MP3 form the TIC.



Dad's Army Comes Home
WOSPS, the Walmington on Sea Players, are presenting a Dad's Army Stage Show in June 2010.

By kind permission of David Croft & Jimmy Perry, and Directed by Ian Gower ~ the stage show will recreate the scenes of the 'Godiva Affair' and 'The Deadly Attachment'.

15th~18th June 2010
Matinee Wednesday-Friday 2:30pm £8 / Conc. £6.
Evening Tuesday-Friday 7:30pm £10 / Conc. £8

First ever Breckland Film Festival!
Breckland Council together with Creative Arts East offers the chance to watch a wide variety of films from around the world at a number of venues within the Breckland area, screenings will be held at local village and community halls.
Thetford Arts Centre will be hosting the screening of two films at the Guildhall, Market Place, Thetford on
Friday 5th March ~ Cheri (15) & Saturday 6th March Slumdog Millionaire (15).
Doors open 6:15pm with refreshments available and screening at 7pm.
Tickets £2.50 can be purchased from the Tourist Infomation Centre, Market Place, Thetford.
