A carnival
isn’t a carnival without a carnival king and queen!
The competition to find the perfect people to represent
the town. Ten entrants will be shortlisted to go through
to the finals on 28th May. Finals will be held at the
Carnegie Rooms in Thetford where an audience will be able
to watch contestants performing a talent act of their
own choice and then being interviewed by a panel of judges.
The winners will receive a prize and will take pride of
place in the Carnival Procession on 5th June as well as
attending a number of public engagements with the Town
Mayor over the following 12 months.
Two runners up will be crowned as ‘Carnival Princesses’
to accompany the Queen on the day of the Carnival and
they will receive prizes.
Entrants must be over 16 years of age. For full terms
