part in our party procession around the town! Take the
opportunity to dress up with your friends or colleagues
and come along to join in the fun. We guarantee music,
dancing and amazing costumes so let’s show Thetford
what we’re made of!
We’re looking forward to seeing schools, colleges,
sports clubs, local businesses, local societies and visitors
from our twinned towns overseas all getting involved.
Taking part is completely free and anyone can join in.

THETFORD’S INTERNATIONAL CARNIVAL
RULES
1. The procession will commence at 3:30pm prompt.
2. Spectators attend the carnival at their own risk.
43. All participants must read and abide by the Thetford
Town Council safety guidelines attached.
4. Thetford Town Council and the carnival committee
reserves the right to withdraw any entry from the procession
should they not abide by the safety guidelines.

PLEASE NOTE
All persons and organisations take part in the carnival
procession entirely at their own risk and Thetford Town
Council or any member of the carnival committee is not
to be held liable for any loss or injury arising from
participation.
ALCOHOL
Alcohol should not be consumed by anyone participating
in the Carnival or procession.
