and take your first steps towards fame and fortune!
Local bands are invited to come forward and submit a demo
tape to xxxxxxxxxxxxx by xxxxxxxxx 2004.
Three bands will be shortisted and invited to play on
stage at Melford Common on the day of the Carnival. The
competition will take place from 2pm and the panel of
judges will announce the winner at xxxpm. The winning
band will then be invited to play again as the support
act for the evening’s Carnival Concert.

This is a great chance to support local musicians and
enjoy a free afternoon’s musical medley. For those
not taking part, come along to listen and soak up the
atmosphere … and remember, you heard them here first!
